About Tobacco Free Society Movement (TFSM)
The Tobacco Free Society Movement (TFSM) is a legally registered organization committed to eradicating tobacco use and promoting public health. Founded by Dr. K. Kalaivendhan, a distinguished dental surgeon and public health advocate, TFSM has conducted over 200 tobacco cessation seminars and 100 oral cancer screening camps across schools, colleges, and rural communities.
With active collaboration with WHO, American Lung Association, and British Lung Foundation, the movement integrates global research with local action. TFSM’s initiatives focus on prevention, early diagnosis, and education.
Under Dr. Kalaivendhan’s leadership, TFSM continues to inspire thousands toward a tobacco-free lifestyle, making a significant impact in Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and beyond.
